[For Fitz]
May. 5th, 2016 10:51 amTerry has long, long since given up caring what strangers think of her. It's made her life much easier in the long run, and she saves up that energy for the relationships she truly cares about. Sybil, Luke, Raven -- they matter more than the guy eyeing her as he walks around her.
She's not surprised by the stares, however. It's difficult to transport a full suit of armor when she's not sure how to use it and thus actually being in it is out of the question. Were she able to, Terry would have hopped in and flown it over to the school, but she's not Kotetsu, and she's not stupid enough to try it without knowing what she's doing.
So she's doing the best thing she could think of. She's rented a van, which is idling on the sidewalk outside of Candlewood, and she's lugging the suit down. It probably makes for an interesting scene, but, again, Terry doesn't care.
She's mostly decided she can't live in the apartment anymore, not with how KIRIN violated her safety, and she's moving the important things to the school for safekeeping. Top of the list is Kotetsu's suit, and she curses him under her breath for leaving the suit, for how big and heavy it is, for leaving her, for how much she still misses him.
Terry's stopped for now, the suit seated on the sidewalk and leaning against the van. It had been an ordeal enough getting it outside, and she needs a break before getting it in the car.
In the meantime she's happy enough to just smile and nod at the stares as they come.
