Okay, so it's a little bit of a silly idea, but Terry's gone through with worse.

After stopping by that flower shop again, she decided to go through with a vague idea to try to bring some sort of life to Sean's apartment, herculean task though it may be. After a vetoing most plants as too obvious (cactus) or too easy to kill (any flower that actually needs maintenance), she settles for a Jade plant that greens nicely and, from what she's told, barely needs to be watered.

It won't be able to combat the pure transient, bachelor pad style Sean has going, but it's something to look at.

With both hands holding the plant and some food she's picked up on the way over, Terry knocks with one booted foot and calls out, pitching her voice to be heard easily in the apartment. "Birthday delivery!"

"Oh, Lord," Sean mutters to himself, dropping his book to the floor and hauling himself up out of his recliner to go answer the door, but there's a smile tugging at one corner of his mouth even as he complains. Every time he feels like he's gotten used to the idea of a world where nobody cares about him (which, admittedly, has its perks), this place drags him back into somebody's life.

"So," he says, as upbeat as he can manage when he sees just what his daughter is carrying and ushering her inside, "ye remembered."

"As if I'd forget yer birthday," Terry says with a scoff as she bustles past Sean and into his kitchen. She sets everything down on a counter, and picks the plant up again to present it to him. "It's a Jade plant. I know ye don't take to gifts much, but I figured this place could use somethin' nice. It doesn't need much waterin' so ye'd have to try incredibly hard to kill it."
