Terry makes a dismissive sound as she de-pots the poor old, dead plant, carefully putting it in a trash bag with as little mess as possible. "I dinnae think Uncle Tom actually cared for plants so much as he turned into one."

It was odd to think of Tom now, with so much time since she last saw him. Her feelings for him have almost begun to circle back around to fondness, anger and fear slowly wearing away as she realized there weren't many Cassidys of County Mayo left in the world. (That would most likely change if she were ever to see him again, but for now...he was one of the only two family members she had left.)

"It's not that big," she says, stepping back. With the plant on the counter it's just as tall as she is, but the more green she could put in the apartment, the better. "And it's not like ye haven't got anywhere to put it."
